Returns & Damage Policy
At Jenny Westenhofer Art, each piece is created or produced with intention and care. Due to the nature of fine art, we maintain the following policy to ensure fairness and protect the integrity of our work.
All Sales Final (Standard Policy)
All purchases are considered final sale.
We do not accept returns or offer refunds for:
- Change of mind
- Incorrect size selection
- Color differences due to screen displays
- Buyer’s remorse
We strongly encourage reviewing product details and dimensions carefully before purchasing.
Damaged Items
If your artwork arrives damaged, we will make it right.
To qualify for a replacement:
- You must contact us within 5 days of delivery
- Email art@jennywestenhofer.com
- Include:
- Clear photos of the damaged item
- Photos of the packaging (including box and any visible damage)
- Your order number
⚠️ Important: Failure to provide photos of both the item and packaging may result in denial of your claim. This is required for carrier claims.
If approved, we will:
- Replace the item with the same piece (if available), or
- Offer a suitable resolution at our discretion
Lost or Stolen Packages
Once an order has been shipped and marked as delivered by the carrier:
- We are not responsible for lost or stolen packages
- Customers are responsible for ensuring a secure delivery location
If your package is marked delivered but not received:
- Please contact the shipping carrier directly
- We are happy to assist with tracking details if needed
Incorrect Address / Delivery Issues
- Orders shipped to an incorrect address provided at checkout are not eligible for refund or replacement
- If a package is returned to us due to an incorrect address:
- Customer is responsible for reshipping costs
- Customer is responsible for reshipping costs
Order Cancellations
Because many items are made to order:
- Orders cannot be canceled once they have entered production or processing
- Cancellation requests must be made within 12 hours of purchase
Color & Appearance Disclaimer
We do our best to accurately represent colors and textures.
However:
- Colors may vary slightly due to screen settings, lighting, and printing variations
- These differences are not considered defects
Fraud & Abuse Protection
To protect our business from fraudulent claims:
- We reserve the right to deny refunds or replacements if policy requirements are not met
- We may request additional verification for high-value orders or claims
- Repeated claims or suspicious activity may result in refusal of future orders
