MURALS

One of my favorite creative projects are murals. There is something so satisfying about painting a wall. Murals combine my love for art with my obsession for home design. When I think about it, I started painting murals in my 20’s….I was pregnant with child #1 and had a major case of nesting. (Actually, when I think about it, I always have a major case of nesting!) I decided to paint bees on my nursery walls. I was SO proud of those bees. Friends started to ask me to paint their kids’ bedroom walls. I have painted firetrucks, ballerinas, flowers, sports themes, bows and initials. I think my going rate for a room back then was $50, no joke! My murals are just a tad more sophisticated now. I will say, no matter what the budget, the joy I feel when I see my client’s face light up when seeing a completed mural is simply priceless. That’s what it gets down to for me…sharing my gift and beautifying homes. Check out some “Jenny” murals as of late…….
